Gophers starting left guard Jon Christenson will be out about four weeks after having right knee surgery Monday, coach Jerry Kill said.

Christensen got hurt in the first half of Saturday's 23-20 win over Colorado State and was replaced by Joe Bjorklund.

Kill also said two other offensive lineman are hurt, but he wouldn't disclose which players those were.

"Depth is going to be tested," Gophers offensive coordinator/0ffensive line coach Matt Limegrover said.

Limegrover said that the other dinged up O-linemen will need another day or two of rest and should be ready to go by the weekend.

Christensen broke two bones in his leg in 2013, so his latest injury had added impact on the coaches.

"It's a shot to the gut," Limegrover said.

The offensive line has had multiple injuries through two games, including Josh Campion (concussion) and Ben Lauer (knee).

Quarterback Mitch Leidner was sacked once and was hurried five times against Colorado State.
