Gophers backup left tackle Ben Lauer (broken left hand) was out for Saturday’s game against Ohio.

Lauer was listed as questionable after breaking his hand in Wednesday’s practice. He was on the sideline before kickoff, wearing a black brace.

“Knock on stone, we can’t loose anybody else today,” Gophers coach Jerry Kill told KFXN-FM.

Freshman Quinn Oseland received practice snaps at left tackle, but his redshirt would be removed if he plays Saturday.

Also, true freshman Tyler Moore received snaps at center with the second team. He also has been redshirted up to this point.

Backup defensive tackle Robert Ndondo-Lay suited up for warmups, but Kill said he might not play much. Same status with safety Ace Rogers (knee).
